Yeah this second book can be slow, but I was actually okay with a lot of it, as I didn't mind the extra focus on the characters and their struggles, especially Vin and her battle to feel worthy. I think it's something I can relate to, so I appreciated the time that was spent on it. But like you said, Sazed was definitely a high point of this one! He's such a fantastic character. I get the feeling you've read the trilogy before? Because yes, it's totally worth sticking with this book until the third one.
